This morning we hosted our first Digital Healthcare Breakfast of 2025. It was great to see both familiar and new faces come together for insightful conversations.

Michael Smerklo and Will Bruhn, MD kickedus off with a conversation about the evolving healthcare landscape -specifically, how incentives drive behavior change for surgeons, the ability to access healthcare data, and the impact of shifting payor models. We also dug into the rise of ICHRA and self-insured models, which are gaining traction as companies rethink healthcare coverage. Lots to consider as the industry continues to evolve!

9th Digital Healthcare Breakfast

On December 9th, we hosted our 8th Austin Digital Healthcare Breakfast, closing out 2024 with a dynamic discussion featuring Karina Lynch (DLA Piper) and Avik Roy (FREOPP). With 30+ healthcare entrepreneurs from Austin, we explored critical policy issues, including the confirmation prospects of potential Trump nominees, the likelihood of large-scale Congressional changes, and how early-stage healthcare founders can navigate lobbying effectively.

Special thanks to Karina and Avik for sharing their deep expertise in health policy and legislative strategy. It was a thoughtful, candid dialogue and a fantastic way to wrap up the year!

Digital Healthcare Breakfast

On November 11th and 12th, we hosted our second annual NCV Founder and CEO Summit!

Over 50 founders, CEOs, and venture partners from across our portfolio joined us for two days focused on the power of connection and leadership development. This year, we took a fully interactive approach, diving deep into the real challenges our founders face with a series of tactical group sessions. Leaders focused on setting powerful visions, evaluated their leadership styles, and worked through a problem-solving workshop where they each presented a current challenge for group feedback.

Each session was packed with real examples, giving founders practical insights they could put to work right away.
